k/kernel-source-4.14.37-noarch-1.txz: Upgraded.
n/openvpn-2.4.6-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.
This is a security update fixing a potential double-free() in Interactive
Service. This usually only leads to a process crash (DoS by an unprivileged
local account) but since it could possibly lead to memory corruption if
happening while multiple other threads are active at the same time,
CVE-2018-9336 has been assigned to acknowledge this risk.
  For more information, see:

New kernel in Slackware-stable (security update).

Code:
Wed May 23 04:42:29 UTC 2018
patches/packages/linux-4.4.132/*: Upgraded.
This kernel upgrade is being provided primarily to fix a regression in the
getsockopt() function, but it also contains fixes for two denial-of-service
  security issues.
Be sure to upgrade your initrd after upgrading the kernel packages.
If you use lilo to boot your machine, be sure lilo.conf points to the correct
kernel and initrd and run lilo as root to update the bootloader.
If you use elilo to boot your machine, you should run eliloconfig to copy the
kernel and initrd to the EFI System Partition.

Handle removal of US/Pacific-New timezone. If we see that the machine is

a/kernel-modules-4.14.44-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.

However, slackpkg doesn't see it or download it.
I have: 4.14.43 #2 SMP Tue May 22 22:47:49 CDT 2018 x86_64

Slackpkg has always downloaded/installed new current kernels until this one. What am I missing?

Maybe your mirror is out of date? Slackpkg worked for me.

Code:
bash-4.4$ uname -rpm
4.14.44 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
