New Kernel (2.6.16.20) and problems with sound

Well I ha ve a new kernel and there are some problems with sound. At Xine homepage I read, that Xine engine don't support >1.0.9 version of ALSA and mine is 1.0.11. XMMS plays, but with some noise and other problems, amaroK - not. Maybe other engine would help?

Try modifying the output plugins in XMMS to OSS/ALSA. It works with me (i'm using ALSA right now)
