Allow me to suggest running (as root) "lspci -nnk" so you will see what kernel module is supposed to be used or which one is currently running so you can try more if one isn't working with your chip.

Your lspci -v output shows that Realtek RTL8101 is correctly driven by r8169 kernel module.
Next step is to get an ethernet connection inside your LAN. If ping doesn't work check whether pinged device allows ping returns. Especially Computers running newer Windows versions doesn't allow this by default. I suggest to try this with static IPs first. Reduce IP address pool for DHCP in your router and use static IPs outside address pool for DHCP. Hint: Following description is for a LAN at 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 with static IPs.
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf shall contain (replace 192.168.0.1 with an unused IP in your LAN if necessary; typically GATEWAY= "your router"):

If everything works with static IPs you can try to switch back to DHCP.

by YOUR GW I mean : the IP address
when you debug a network issue, you must use IP address only, to avoid possible name resolution troubles
If possible, whenever you enter a command, can you please paste it here?
Without feedback on what exactly you entered and the result of the standard output, it will be very difficult for everyone here to give you more advice.
