new install slackware 10.1 using 2.6.10 kernel

Hello everyone,
I may have just missed this today while installing 10.1 for the first time. I was wanting to see if it was possible to use the kernel 2.6 that is included under the testing directory during setup or do i need to compile the kernel after completing the setup process? If it is possible to use the 2.6 kernel during installation, can I do it using a NFS or do I need to put some files on a floppy? I would of used the cd-roms, but this machine does not have a cd-rom in it.

Unfortunately, to use the 2.6 kernel, you first must install slackware using 2.4, then upgrade to 2.6 from the /testing directory. Or, compile your own, if you feel you're upto it.

Any questions just ask.

This is one thing about the installation routine that I wish could be changed.
