new 2.4.27 kernel issues
 
Using the stock 2.4.27 kernel on my laptop I get some errors in syslog:

raid5 speed evauation now 1300MB/s, was 3000MB/s with 2.4.26
shpchp insmod lots of errors
pciehp insmod lots of errors
intelfb insmod lots of errors
cant locate module char-major-10-134
mtrr: no more MTRRs available

As pciehp appears to be hotplug for pci express, which I don't have, I presume that this one could be disabled.
