NetworkManager Build Problems

I recently reformatted after the latest current updates and needed to install NetworkManager for wireless support. It seemed to be working alright, but it encountered an error as follows:

Code:
crypto_gnutls.c: In function 'crypto_verify_cert':
crypto_gnutls.c:353:2: error: 'gnutls_datum' is deprecated (declared at /usr/include/gnutls/gnutls.h:717) [-Werror=deprecated-declarations]
crypto_gnutls.c: In function 'crypto_verify_pkcs12':
crypto_gnutls.c:393:2: error: 'gnutls_datum' is deprecated (declared at /usr/include/gnutls/gnutls.h:717) [-Werror=deprecated-declarations]
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors
make[3]: *** [libnm_util_la-crypto_gnutls.lo] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/tmp/SBo/NetworkManager-0.8.6.0/libnm-util'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/SBo/NetworkManager-0.8.6.0/libnm-util'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/SBo/NetworkManager-0.8.6.0'
make: *** [all] Error 2
Might the new version of gnutls have caused this error? Does anyone know what to do to successfully complete the build?

@CTM Totally missed that, thanks for pointing that out

@volkerdi Since a newer version is already available to me, I can go ahead and skip building it myself but thank you for supplying a possible solution I will remember that for the future.

Marking thread as solved.
