network connection (PCMCIA) dying
hello,
i am using cheap NIC Planet ENW-3504-FC(8139too module) on an old laptop acer tm 210tev. the issue i am having is that i am experiencing network disconnections in random intervals. sometimes they are connected w/ a system lock-up. once the card is ejected, the system is up again. in other cases the link/act diod just dies and i get "card ejected from slot 0" message in dmesg. in windows 98 everything works fine.
i'd appreciate an advice on this.
