Network config

Hello,

How do I configure the network in Slackware 10.2? I know of netconfig, but it asks for a hostname and domain, and I really have no idea what this is. I don't have my own domain - on other distros, I can just use a simple DHCP config!
How can I get my internet working?
Thanks for any help!

netconfig will prompt you if you use DHCP. I went with the default options on naming things (example.org was one) and then picked DHCP after that. It worked then-you may have to reboot.

Thanks, that worked, but now I have another problem: My scroll wheel on my usb mouse is not working properly! I have an Apple Mighty Mouse. It has a 360 scroll wheel(only up and down in Linux and Winblows though). When I added Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" to the xorg.conf, I can only scroll up and down by physically scrolling right and left.
Th xorg.conf says:
Identifier "Mouse1"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/mouse"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
How can I make it scroll up and down by physically doing the same?
