network brosing in slackware


anyone know how to brose my network in slakware?


mandrake had lin neighborhood

but i didn't see anything like that in slack ware


and how i might mount the network drives?

any help???

use smbclient if you are working in the console.

use xsmbrowser - if you want the GUI - search for it in google.com/linux.

You could also download lin neighborhood and install that on slackware.

If you have samba installed.... the best program I have found is SMB4K (http://smb4k.berlios.de/) it is very easy to install and the GUI is very easy to use.
