netgear wg111 v2


Hi all i an new to linux and i have been trying ubuntu 7,04 ,i have been trying to set up a wireless connection using the netgear wg111v2.But not having very much luck.I have a windows driver disc for the adapter,but cannot get ndiswrapper to install it from the cd.I think i must be doing something wrong.Can any one tell me what are the commands used to get ndiswrapper to install the driver from cd,or do i have to place the file soneplace on the system.Then us ndiswrapper to install and run the river.I be very thankful if anybody could help me .

Does the disc contain the inf driver or just exe files. In some cases you can use cabextract utility to extract the files from them if they are cab files just renamed.
