NetGear A6100 AC600 DB Wireless Adapter install driver, how to?

I am getting ready to install slack using current dvd iso to usb stick, and am inquiring how to make and load a driver for a USB NetGear A6100 AC600 DB Wireless Adapter so I can have wifi on that until I get a replacement M.2 whatever they are calling it mini card for my laptop -- china is sending me one

I've got something off git that worked for mx linux

would that also work in slack? rtl8812au-5.6.4.2
it is a
make
make install

2nd Q that I'm going to find out on my own in a minute.
AMD Ryzen™ 5 2500U Mobile Processor with Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics (ideaPad 330s 15ARR)
noapic on boot should get the install running?

I use that driver in all 4 of my systems and I install it with dkms without a hitch. I did have to patch on one system that I'm trying kernel 5.6-rc.
Does slackware have dkms? It does install without dkms and I can't be sure but I can't see a reason why it wouldn't install on slackware.
Did you download the gordboy version from git?
