need xbmc svn slackware packages

xbmc refused to build here under slack 13, no matter what I tried. So anyone kind enough to provide me a slack package for it? (notes: xbmc 8.10 is not happy with my ati card and will not work, perhasp version 9.04.1 will do?).

Currently I use minidlna as dlna server to my newly bought samsung led 7000 hdtv, it works great but I need some extra features. I plan to feed dvd iso to my hdtv over network, I am not sure whether xbmc could do this. I also hope that xbmc could decode and stream video format that is not supported by samsang TV on the fly. You know kids scratched most of my DVD disc here... Where is the floppy covers???

You could try the slackbuild for xbmc here for 9.04.1. I don't know if it will compile against xbmc svn but I believe it would only be a slight modification to the slackbuild.

I'm using XBMC 9.04.1 with both 12.2 and 13.0. I'm using larryhaja's build script. Be sure to build and install the six packages upon which XBMC is dependent. Slackware 13.0 provides some of those packages but not all. Slackware 12.2 needs all six packages built and installed.

Versio 9.04.1 is relatively stable but I can get the app to crash repeatedly when I play certain AVI videos and then stop the video anywhere in midstream. XBMC is an app that is updated at a very fast pace. Unless you want to be a full-fledged alpha and beta tester, posting questions to the forum typically results in a demand for a lot of information, including logs. I've been content to live with some of the nuisances and bugs until the next official release. :)

Thanks. The slackbuild worked. XBMC is working but unfortunately my IBM X31 seems not up to the requirement of XBMC and is crawling damn slow.
