Exclamation Need help with lm_sensors

Hi all.
I need to monitor my CPU and MB temps.
I have an Asus P4S8X-X.
Downloaded lm_sensors and sysfsutils.
Install went ok.

when i run sensors at console:
Code:
Can't access procfs/sysfs file
Unable to find i2c bus information;
For 2.6 kernels, make sure you have mounted sysfs and libsensors
was compiled with sysfs support!
For older kernels, make sure you have done 'modprobe i2c-proc'!
Mount shows:
Code:
/dev/hda2 on / type ext3 (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw)
/dev/hda1 on /mnt/disco type ntfs (ro,uid=500)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw)
usbfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbfs (rw)
/dev/sda1 on /mnt/hd type vfat (rw)
sysfs is mounted, mount dosen't lie!

My kernel is 2.6.17.4 and this is the config:
Code:

Don't know what to do next. ACPI doesn't work. lm_sensors is my last resort.

Thanks in advance

i have also the "i2c_isa" module loaded.
load it with modprobe, and look at the output of "sensors".

you might need more modules.
here i have "it87" loaded for the temp. and voltage.

Thumbs up

Great, I managed to make it work.
Can read all temps, volts and RPM. I read more temps than i thought i had
Needed asb100 module and eeprom (funny, i tried to load asb100 module before and no result ).
Sensors works now (just need to confirm if the temps are correct).

Thanks anyway egag for your time and effort.
