Oh and by the way, Attansic was bought by Atheros which is why it shows Atheros, but in essence, it is Attansic 1083. It needs to the atl1c driver

OK, this device is not supported by the standard 2.6.37.6 from 13.37, it is supported in -current and should also work with the 2.6.38 from /testing.

Thanks then. I knew I was not crazy. Anyhow I'm doing the download of Alien's auto script for current so assuming it completes and burns and installs okay all will be good. Thanks
