ndiswrapper and slackware modules

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with the modprobe ndiswrapper command.

I know how to use ndiswrapper, and I've used it before on Mandrake 10.0. It recognizes card, driver, etc. just fine, but when I type "modprobe ndiswrapper" I get:
Code:

/lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz:  init_module:  no such device
/lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz:  Hint:  insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
/lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz:  insmod /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz failed
/lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz:  insmod ndiswrapper failed

I don't know what "sonypi.o.gz" is. Also, does this mean my ndiswrapper installation is corrupted? Thanks for any and all replies, if you need any more info please ask.

sonypi.o.gz is a kernel module

Should i attempt to reinstall that module, then?

But what would it have to do with ndiswrapper?
