ncmpc fails to redraw screen properly after song change when running inside tmux

Details:

- I have tried it at least in 3 different terminals: xterm that comes with Slackware64-14.2, st-0.8.2 with some custom patches and terminator-1.91 built by modifying the buildscript provided by SBo, so this is either a tmux issue or an ncmpc issue

- I can't report it upstream, because https://github.com/tmux/tmux/blob/ma...ONTRIBUTING.md requires to reproduce the issue on latest release

- my TERM is set to xterm-256color. I believe it ended in my profile because it is required for terminal vim colors to work properly. While the link above recommends different values for it. I don't know if I should try switching to any of those, because I'm not always using tmux with each terminal

What are my options to try fixing it while staying with the tmux version that gets provided by Slackware?

Hi, I had this issue, it's fixed with tmux-3.0a.

I see that -current has this tmux version. Is it worth getting the SlackBuild from -current and building for 14.2?

I don't think anything relies on tmux, so building the version from -current isn't likely to break anything else on 14.2. Worst case, if it doesn't fix it and it breaks something else, you can always revert to the official 14.2 package.

Looks like the syntax for bind-key changed and broke some of my settings in .tmux.conf. But then I realized I've never used them after adding them there while reading a tmux book, so I guess I should be fine, since I just reverted that part of my config.
