File manager config in Gnome all in 1 window

Hi there,
I'd like my Gnome 2.6 to act as an older version of gnome. Is there a way to make something, so that its file manager opened every folder in the same window? Plz help anyone.

When you start nautilus as browser (nautilus --browser) it'll display every folder in the same window.
Also is possible to display so in normal mode, but for it you must edit gconf. But I don't now what to
modify in gconf  .
I'll look for it . :study:

I've got Slackware 10.0 with gnome 2.6 too.

I have this utility called GConf editor. It's a graphical GConf editor :) Anyway, with it I go to Apps -> nautilus -> preferences and I click on always_use_browser. Voila.

Thanx people. I'll try to modify that file. Thank you very much.

If you find out something more, just write

Guess what? GConf command does not exist, and there is no such a thing as always_use_browser_Voila.
Moreover, in the Preferences the check box "OPen activated items in a new window" is not selected, yet my Nautilus opens everything in a new window. How do you fix that?
