MySQL
I know. A very generic title.
My issue is this. I need to run MySQL, and I have NO idea what I'm doing (I figure honesty won't hurt). I had the startup scripts enable MySQL, and I see it TRY to start at boot time, but a line or two later, it says the deamon has stopped. I know absolutely diddly about this. What else do I have to configure/make/install for MySQL to work? I am using the default MySQL that came with 10.2 (whatever version that is) |
Read the instructions in /etc/rc.d/rc.mysqld
