My sound ran away! Audigy 2 ZS

Hi, I just recompiled my kernel (stock 2.4) for my onboard nic driver (Marvell Yukon). And now after I rebooted kde can't find my sound card (Creative Audigy 2 ZS) I ran alsaconf and it cant find it either. Any ideas on what to do? Also My scroll wheel wont work for my usb logitech mouse. I did what was documented in Shilo's "This is how I do it all" Thread. But it seems that it is still not working.

Thanks!

well, was it all working before you compiled your kernel? I think the generic 2.4 slack kernel has everything installed as a module so you don't really need to recompile it. However, there is another thread on Alsa

It seems your problem is just like that one

okay i fixed it, just for future reference, I just downloaded a fresh copy of alsa. Then i reinstalled alsa and ran alsaconf. that worked no problem.
