Multilib Broken?

Hey guys, I just started a fresh installation of Slack 14.1 and when I try to get multi lib working it kills my system.

I download the packages with curl, cd to slackware 14.1 and then do an upgradepkg and right after glibc is being removed /bin/sh is no longer working as well as many cli utilities. (mount, grep, etc) it seems like upgrading glibc is causing it to break.

Note this has never happened to me ever, my other slack boxes have multilib support without issues.

Did something change in the installation procedures and was not documented?

Multilib is working as it should here. You might have had a corrupt download. I've installed multilib with slackpkg+, maybe it'll work for you too.

Did you perhaps install a 32-bit slackware instead of 64-bit?

It would also help if you wrote down the exact commands you used to install multilib on that computer.

This happened to me once, after installing 14.1 multilibs on Slackware64 14.0. I had all these strange compilation errors all of a sudden, and after an hour of googling, I found the mistake in slackpkgplus.conf. Oops.
