Multi-lib Questions

Hi all. I have multilib set up which was very easy with slackpkg+ (thanks for that program). I have Steam up and running and even got my Desura games working too.

How do I get Wine installed? Do I do a slackbuild of 64 bit? Or use Alien Bob's packages and do the 32 bit? I am not sure what to do with it.

One more question. I have a Desura game, Towns, that uses Java and I installed 64 bit openJDK and game did not work. I then took a chance and installed the 32 bit openJRE and all works. Was this a correct solution or could I have invited problems?

Thanks.

I just downloaded the package for Slackware 64 bit from the Wine site, works perfectly.

Even with 32 bit programs? Or is that what the multilib fixes? I guess I am confused thinking I need the 32bit wine to run 32 bit software.

I know the questions are elementary. In the past I would just install 32bit Slackware and avoid the whole multilib but I am trying to learn more this time around.

I have a standard 64 bit installation (only with newer kernel and Mesa) with multilib (also maintained using slackpkg+). I just installed that package, works fine with 32 bit games.
