move plasmods on KDE 4.2.1 Panel?
 

This should be simple but I can't figure it out. I want to rearrange the plasmoids on the KDE panel. For instance I added a plasmoid to the panel and it rearranged the positioning of everything else which is a problem. I opened up panel settings and when I hover my mouse over the plasmoid i get a move icon, but as soon as I click my mouse the panel settings disappear and nothing happens. This should be simple but I am just not getting it.

Anyone know how to fix this?

It's a bug that I've seen nowhere other than the KDE4.2 in slackware-testing. That is, I've not seen it in KDE4.2 on Arch, Suse, Debian, or Fedora. I think that there's nothing you can do about it except don't move the icons on the panel.

Yeah, I never did find a solution so I disabled all plasmoids on the panel and then readed them to KDE Desktop then I could just drag then over the top of the panel where I wanted them and dropped them in. It's not the prettiest method but it worked.

This might be one of those problems Qt-4.5 brings upon kde 4.2. I still use Qt-4.4 for kde4 and it works much smoother than with Qt-4.5 (tried that too)
