gslapt does not work i found it in lost+found after i installed it
slapt-get works where is the sources file for slapt-get .i will try to make the kpackage manager work.

This question has been answered many times, search the forums before you post. With that said, here is the relevant section from my xorg.conf file:

Code:
Section "InputDevice"

# Identifier and driver

    Identifier "Mouse1"
    Driver "mouse"
    Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
    Option "Device" "/dev/mouse"
    Option "Buttons" "7"
    Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Add that to your xorg.conf file, and your scroll wheel will work for you.

For audio as root type
Code:
alsamixer
and unmute and raise the volume levels, then
Code:
alsactl store
to save the levels
