Mouse pointer freezes, keyboard still works
 

It happens almost every X session. My mouse will just freeze in one place. The keyboard still works, and my programs are still going, but the mouse will not move. It doesn't seem to be triggered by anything in particular, either. It'll happen at random.

I'm using one of those generic ps/2 microsoft mouses with the scrollwheel, although I don't have the wheel setup. I haven't touched my mouse config settings yet. Best not to monkey with it unless I know what I'm doing.

Arg! It did it again! I've resorted to Lynx just to post this reply! Restarting X fixes it, but it usually freezes again. Please help!
