Mounting MP3 Player

Hi,

I have an Archo's MP3 player which has a USB interface. Earlier, when I used to plugin, it used to get detected as sdb1, but now I am getting the following errors:

Code:
Oct 14 19:58:23 kernel: usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using address 3
Oct 14 19:58:24 kernel: scsi2 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices

Oct 14 19:58:25 modprobe: FATAL: Module sd_mod not found.
Nothing with 'sdb' is getting created in /dev

I have a fresh install of slackware and am using the 2.6.8.1 kernel from testing. Any help is appreciated

Try modprobe sd_mod ... if it says error module not found you might need to re-compile your kernel and select it.

Good luck
