Mount CDROM problem

I know this is probably a very simple question but any help would be appreciated.

When I try to mount the cdrom (only using audio cds) i get the following error message:

$mount /mnt/cdrom:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom,
or too many mounted file systems

The line in the fstab concerning the cdrom is:

/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,user,ro 0 0

I'm using Slack9.

You don't mount audio CDs - just play 'em.

No problem. It's a very natural thing to think you'd mount them like everything else, and a lot of people try.

Don't forget, however, that if you're up to a little finigling, there is a pseudo-filesystem available called cdfs - it reads the raw data on a disc and presents you with wav files for audio tracks, iso files for data tracks (including multi-session) and mpg files for video discs. And, if you're running KDE with Konqueror, there are the IO Slaves available (kde control centre --> information --> protocols).
