I agree that's why asked what resolution is being used. Could be he has default slackware of 75 dpi which is really tiny for me.

Well if he had Slackware 11.0 then his version of Mozilla should be, and it would have the proper options in Edit -> Preferences. As I recall satimis has LFS.

I don't think that's an issue for quite some years. Even my ancient PCI matrox millenium could've handled 2048x1536 or so.
Tho that's matrox (my gef2mx can also handle it)
