modprobe agpgart and fglrx ??

I have just isntalled the schneider-digital radeon drivers for my r9000 pro II, but it can't load the modules for it.

"modprobe fglrx" returns no module
"modprobe agpgart" return errors as well.

I think its something to do with the agpgart bit, as I have edited my XF86Config-4 File and everyhting there works fine.

here is output from dmesg:
Code:
Linux agpgart interface v0.99 (c) Jeff Hartmann
agpgart: Maximum main memory to use for agp memory: 203M
agpgart: Unsupported Via chipset (device id: 3189), you might want to try agp_try_unsupported=1.
agpgart: no supported devices found.

youre agp chipset is to advanced for the kernel...
use the loading option the error suggested and load the agpgart module by typing:
"modprobe agpgart agp_try_unsupported=1"
or you could update your kernel to 2.4.21 and above (and if i am not mistaken there is a kerenl patch for that if you wish to remain with the current kernel"

and the fglrx module... try installing the module download the drivers, install the package... then run the installation scripts
