ModemManager spam on -current?

Anybody else suddenly getting ModemManager spam on Slackware -current, last updated here on June 30th 2020? It is seen on my system at the end of console startup (runlevel 3) and obscures the username login area.

Not sure how to capture the exact message, it does not appear in dmesg, worse comes to worst I will grab a photo...

I'm getting nothing. ModemManager was last updated "Wed Jun 24 20:06:50 UTC 2020". I have rebooted two days ago for the kernel update. Don't recall see any spam. Will reboot in a few to see and post back.

Make sure to move the .new init script and config into place for this......
Once I renamed the appropriate files, the spam disappeared.
Let me see if I can find the thread which had the solution.

I just rebooted, see nothing unusual at the login prompt (runlevel 3).

Code:

a/sysklogd-2.1.2-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.

Probably the reason I am not seeing this. I read ChangeLog.txt ;)

Ouch :). Indeed once the relevant files were mv'd the issue disappeared. I am a serial offender with new config files so I will now spend some quality time sorting the rest of them out...
