Hi, I know in Arch Linux if you need to start KDM at boot automatically, you just add the module "KDM in etc/mkinitcpio file.
So does Slackware have the same file? If not, where or how do I go about having it start KDE at boot? Also, after I create my non root user, I need to make sure I get the KDE login screen to enter the new user. Can anyone give me some tips? Thanks
in slackware, you will have to set /etc/inittab to boot into runlevel 4, /etc/rc.d/rc.4 will check for available display managers, and run the first one that matches. on a default setup, changing the
