No, but you can just make a symlink to ncurses, that should work.
At time of writing[1] do this, as root:
In Slackware current (32-bit):

ln -s /usr/lib/libncurses.so.5.9 /usr/lib/libtinfo.so.5
In Slackware64 current (64-bit):

ln -s /usr/lib64/libncurses.so.5.9 /usr/lib64/libtinfo.so.5
[1]You will need to adapt the symlink if ncurses is upgraded. Check the ChangeLog for your Slackware edition.
PS if Pat decides to upgrade to ncurses 6
and choose not to retain binary compatibility with ncurses 5 you could be in trouble anyway. I doubt that he would do that at this point of the development cycle but I don't know his plans.
