missing library
Hi,
I just installed Slackware 9.1. Everything is going pretty smooth with it but apparently the installer missed installing a library. I can't seem to run a few programs, like Mozilla or Gaim, even after uninstalling their package and reinstalling them. The error message says I am missing libatk-1.0.so.0. I don't know where the package that installs that library is on the CD. Where can I get that library from?
Thanks

insert slack CDROM
mount /<path/to/cdrom/mountpoint>/
cd /<path/to/cdrom/mountpoint>/
bzip2 -dc MANIFEST.bz2 | less
/libatk
Scroll up a few lines to find the package ;)
Cheers,
Tink

Another question: Why did this library not install in the first place? I always use the "Menu" option when I install, is it possible that I accidentally unselected the package or was it just a fluke of the install?
Thanks

No idea what you did to it mate, it's part of the
"accessibility" package of Gnome ... you probably
thought you're not hearing-/vision-impaired and
won't need it ;)

You are absolutely correct on that . I did unselect the accessibility section for that reason, oops. Is there anything else from that that is important that I should install?
