Some icons that belong to gnome-icon-theme do not seem to be installed. How to reproduce: open up thunar, select some files and copy them to another folder. The little icon that shows in the dialog box is not there. It's easier to notice if you use a relatively slower media, such as a USB flash drive.
Opening up Midori, I get the following notice (apologize my shabby translation):
Quote:
(midori:2660): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon 'stock_new-tab' for stock: The icon "stock_new-tab" is not present in the theme

In order to test it, I installed Arch Linux in a vm, installed Midori and had the same problems. After I installed gnome-icon-theme, all icons started to appear.
Perhaps these problems are due to me not having configured the applications well enough. In that case, I apologize for crying wolf.
