missing gnome-config

I installed slackware 10.1 on my home computer. I tried to compile
php-gtk-1.0.1 and I received something like this: "missing gnome-
config file". I searched for this file on my computer but I didn't
find it. Also I searched with google for some clues but no luck. Does
anyone know what should I do to solve my problem?

Thanks,
Boris.
