missing GLIBCXX_3.4*


hi people,

Iam trying to run a program but i keep getting errors related to some missing library in libstdc++* like the output below any help

Code:
/usr/bin/kismet_client: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.20' not found (required by /usr/bin/kismet_client)
/usr/bin/kismet_client: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.21' not found (required by /usr/bin/kismet_client)

you are using a prebuilt binary of kismet made for a different version of the glibc you are running.

your best option is to rebuild a new kismet package from source

Nothing to do with glibc. ( GLIBCXX is (G)lib..c++ ).

GLIBCXX_3.4.20 is an object in the libstdc++ that comes with gcc-4.9.x .


$ objdump -x /usr/lib*/libstdc++.so.6 | grep GLIBCXX
$ objdump -x /usr/lib*/libstdc++.so.6 | grep GLIBCXX_3.4.20
