minor issues in KDE on current

Hi,
On latest current and running with this CPU/GPU KDE cannot use OpenGL for effects and also for some reason I am unable to use alt+ctrl+F(N) to switch consoles. I guess that the Intel driver needs some more love?

Hello mate! Did you update to the new intel driver? Pat just released an updated intel driver.

Code:
Wed Jul 16 05:31:30 UTC 2014
x/xf86-video-intel-2.99.912-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.
Looks like the stable driver won't compile with the new xorg-server, so
  we'll try this one.

My selected mirror was out of sync. I installed 2.99 but it made things worse so I reverted. I can live with 2.15 until a better driver comes along.

For all of you in IRC land who bugs me with why won't you try this or that version:
Intel GPUs need a lot more work. when these packages are out, I might reconsider: https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloa...-stack-release
