minimal http server
 
Im looking for a minimal http server because apache is just way too big for my needs......I just want to server simple html documents...

But Im willing to stick with apache if there is some guide on how to strip it down? thanks for any help.

What do you mean by strip down apache... functionalities or system resources usage ?

Check out thttpd - tiny/turbo/throttling HTTP server

I implemented it on my test sytem and it worked well.
