Midnight Commander Transparency

Hello. I've been theming Awesome window manager thus far with no problems. Up until Midnight Commander. Everywhere online I see that you need to edit the ~/.mc/ini file in order to change your midnight commander theme. I don't have that file. I don't even have a .mc directory in my home folder. So I figured I'd just create one.

Since I want to make mc transparent, I followed this link:

http://www.void.gr/kargig/blog/2005/...rent-terminal/

I added that line in my .mc/ini file and restarted mc. Didn't work. Restarted Awesome. Still didn't work. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that I didn't have that file. There seems to be very little documentation on theming mc, so hopefully someone can enlighten me. Thanks for reading.

It's in ~/.config/mc/ini now.

Lol oh. I feel dumb now. Sorry for wasting forum space on this post.

Another thing to know is you can't change the ini file while mc is running because when you exit mc it restores the ini file back to the way it was when you started mc. Had me scratching my head as to why my changes kept disappearing.
