Midnight Commander Panel Focus

I hope there is an option for this.

MC remembers which panel (left or right) had the focus when closing. The next time MC opens that panel receives the focus. Is there a way to disable that option where the focus is always the left panel?

There is a Command option (shortcut Ctrl-u) to swap the panels. I prefer MC simply start with the focus on the left panel.

I'm not noticing anything obvious in the --help options or man page.

Thanks.

Hi,

Go to: Options-->Panel Options.. and uncheck "Auto save panel setup". Save and you'll be ok

Regards

Thank you!

I'm using an older version. Interestingly, the menu option reads, "Auto save setup" rather than "Auto save panel setup."
