HI all,
Using slack 10.1, but having trouble viewing mpeg files in firefox. Installed mplayer plugin, but still no good. about:plugins doesn't show the plugin either. Used packages from linuxpackages.net to download
Kernel is 2.4.29

works ok for flash

Also, if I try to use the 'missing plugins' or the 'install missing plugins' it doesn't work

Take a look at Mozplugger. This is what I got to work.

thanks scuzzman, it works a bit better now, it opens xine, but i think the site i'm tryin to view has some issues with some cams.
