Master Boot Record Error
Hi,
I'm brand new to Slackware and after running through the install and setting up all the partitions, I choose Lilo to be the boot loader.
It said I could reboot it the machine, so I did, and after a successful POST it comes up Master Boot Record Error, press any key.
Not sure what I have to do next.

You can boot into Slackware using the installation disc, the instructions are available on the boot up screen. After that you can try to reinstall lilo by doing /sbin/lilo or install grub if you keep having problems with lilo.

I booted off the CD. The setup doesnt allow me to change anything in the install, except for the partitions etc.
I used cfdisk and none of the partitions are set as bootable.. Played around with that a little bit and nothing.
/sbin/lilo doesnt exist.
Not sure how to try grub off the disc.

Well if /sbin/lilo does not exist then it seems like lilo did not install properly. You will need to install it from the Slack discs or by downloading it from the slack website. I doubt that /etc/lilo.conf will exist if lilo is not installed, so you may need to create a lilo config file yourself.

Ah found that if I boot: sata.i dev=/dev/sda3 noinitrd ro
I was able to get in. Then I could configure Lilo properly. I must of rebooted before I actually configured lilo.
Thanks for the help!
