making use of unused partitions
Hi!
I have two partitions of about 3 GB each which are left-overs of a previous installation and which I do not use any more. These partitions contain some folders that I can delete. I want to use them for storing my data - mostly pictures I download from my digital camera and music files. I want to share these partitions between my Slackware, Ubuntu and Windoze (though I rarely use it now) installations. Any idea how to go about doing it? |
Format them as FAT32 and mount them rw in linux to share them between all three OS

ext2fsd
If you will be in Linux most of the time, you might look into this:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ext2fsd The program basically provides access to ext2/3 fs under windows... allowing you to use it for a nice data store(Just an option, not necessarily the best idea). |
