making initrd for kernel 2.6.13 and s-ata

Hi

I want to make a initrd for the 2.6.13 kernel in stable (Slackware 10.2)
I have a s-ata disk and can't figure out which modules to put in my
initrd in addition to the jbd and ext3 kernel modules. My root file system is EXT3.

Thanks in advance

Hi

It seem you need "sata_nv".

As far as I know, you dont need to include ext3 in your initrd as its already built into your kernel, unless ofcourse you recompiled it as a module.

mkinitrd -c -k 2.6.13 -m jbd:sata_nv

dont forget to add the initrd.gz to your lilo config and run "lilo -v"

any problems let me know.

Regards
