Question Mail Server (Postfix+Dovecot) Slackware Current (14.2+)

Has anyone worked with the new postfix+dovecot in latest -current?
AFAIK there isn't a guide to getting it running yet. I'm wondering if it just works out of the box or some config is needed outside of the normal domain/dns specific items of a config.

Postfix works out of the box on current. Dovecot can be configured in many different ways. I am using virtual domains+mysql on slackware14.2 but it should not be much different on current.

I think the first result in google "how to configure dovecot" should help you.

Thank you sovteq. I also have the same setup in 14.2 with mysql and virtual domains. I'm most curious about people's experiences with fresh current installs as well

Postfix & Dovecot works well in Slackware64-Current (14.2+).
The configuration depends on the needs of each e-mail administrator.

I had a guide for doing this in 14.2 which I've just updated. You can try out my new Slackware 15 (-current) mail server with MariaDB, Postfix, and Dovecot guide. I have just followed this guide myself on 29 December as I upgraded my own mail server for the new year to -current and I can confirm it works for me. Let me know if you run into any issues or need help with it.
