Magitonic ISA eth card not working

If you catched the thread about me looking for a good distro and wm to put on a P100 for my mother, then this one is "It also got this old ISA card and I've finally settled for Slack".

It's a Magitronic I-E16-COMBO-5S EZ-2000+ compatible NE2000 (in fact it's a clone), I'm not sure if it is Plug & Pray though. I googled everything I could think of. I tried to load the ne (ne2000) driver many ways with and without io and irq

modprobe ne
modprobe ne io=[0x200...0x360]
modprobe ne io=[0x200...0x360] irq=[3...14]

I've tried them all, but with no success, so I'm asking if one of you guys and gals might have an idea.

The system:
Pentium 100
40Mb RAM
Slack 10 w/ kernel 2.4

You may need to use some of the tools from isapnptools package to manually set up the ISA card and perhaps use 'setserial' also.
Run 'pkgtool' and be sure you have isapnptools installed, then do:
man isapnpdump
man setserial
for more help.
