low priority housekeeping

http://www.slackware.com/about/ still says the slackware.com site is running on a Pentium III, 600 MHz, with 512 megabytes of RAM. Is Akamai a hop away from the wheezer?
http://docs.slackware.com/slackware:faq appears contain more recent content than http://www.slackware.com/faq/ (circa 1999?)

ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackwar...e/slakware/x1/ no longer exists (ZIPSLACK instructions)

Perhaps change the URIs on the root page to point to the documents project?
(cdrom.com faded away)

Just idle observations as an excuse to avoid any real work. If it works, don't fix it.

It is always good to correct these things otherwise they give a bad impression.
