Lot's of Slackware pkgs Here!

I've been working for several months collecting basic programs for desktop use that will run with just GTK-1.2 and lesstif.

I've uploaded over 60 of them so anyone can now build a nice light-weight desktop -starting at around 200-240MB (I mean the whole installation!)

Most of these packages are available in the 'G12' folder at:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/.../download/G12/

I really combed the internet a lot to find these programs and had to fix many of them. Some of them had been ported to HPUX and have been re-ported. Some were apparently written for use with HPUX (unix), but I've even gotten them to work.
You'll also find a few packages under the Slackware folder which work under Slack (but not G12).

I've been making changes and adding features to a few of these programs. If anyone wants to help, it would be appreciated by many others.

Especially, I have been doing a lot of work on the old ROX-Filer (1.2.2) for GTK-1.2 as the basis for an extremely fast and easy-to-use desktop. You can find it and other key elements of the Amigo-FX desktop in the Amigo-FX folder (including Amigo's hwsetup routines).
