I'm using Logitech Wheelmouse, and the wheel are working on RedHat, Mandrake, and Vector but i can't make it work on Slack 9.0. Can someone please tell me what's wrong ???, i've already tried to configure it using kxconfig and xf86config but it doesn't seem to work. Can someone help me ???
Yep, know exactly what you are talking about, that was my question about a year ago, here are my notes, works every time, i think you may have to reboot after doing this however:
How to get the scroller to work on the Mouse:
open to edit
/etc/X11/XF86Config
Change: ps/2 to IMPS/2 Protocol
Then Add Line: Option "ZaxisMapping" "4 5"
then type in :wq to Write & Quit
