logging everything


I want to make a howto for a friend, so I'd like to lok everyline I type and basically everything that is outputted on the screen. Is there an easy way of doing this?

KDE's Konsole has a feature to save a complete session (input and output) as plain text.
Choose Edit -> Save History As...

You might also simply copy&paste the content of a console window into the editor of your choice.
