Liquid theme
I compiled and installed liquid theme 0.94 without any problems but I still cann't see it in the control center
./configure --prefix=/usr make install (as root) thanx in advance |
Thats because slack installs kde (and gnome) into /opt, if you installed liquid into /usr then it will be there on it's own with no way for kde (in /opt/kde) to know it's there. Do a "make uninstall && make distclean" and then do "./configure" with no prefix and it will install into /opt with the rest of kde.

There is a article at linux and main about liquid . http://www.linuxandmain.com/news/liquid.html
I used it to setup the theme after installing it. Basically it says. choose Look & Feel > Colors > Liquid then Look & Feel > Styles > High Performance Liquid then Look & Feel > Window Decoration > High Performance Liquid There are three themes in the Window Decoration dialog to try. |
i've the same problem, and those options don't show up in the look & feel. any ideas?
